Starting Sept. 7, the Rockridge High School Library will be open starting at 7:30 a.m.to accomidate students needing computers and books. If anyone needs time outside the "regular library hours," they need to contact Ms. Peterson. Besides before school, the library will also be open to students with passes during the Learning Lab period on Wednesdays. Passes need to be obtained from Ms Peterson or Mrs Bohnsack.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN AWARD
Rockridge is proud to participate in the Illinois School Library Media Association's (ISLMA) Abraham Lincoln Award which annually recognizes outstanding fiction for students grade 9-12 in the state of Illinois. In February school across the state have participating students, who have read at least 4 books, vote for their favorite book from the list. Past Lincoln winners include: Twilight, Uglies, My Sister's Keeper, and Child Called "It".
