ABRAHAM LINCOLN AWARD

Rockridge is proud to participate in the Illinois School Library Media Association's (ISLMA) Abraham Lincoln Award which annually recognizes outstanding fiction for students grade 9-12 in the state of Illinois.

In February school across the state have participating students, who have read at least 4 books, vote for their favorite book from the list.   Past Lincoln winners include: Twilight, Uglies, My Sister's Keeper, and Child Called "It".

Once you have read any of the Lincoln Books, you can fill out a reading log form and turn it into the library.  Each month, we will draw a winner from the submitted entries and the winner will receive a prize from the library. 

ISLMA provides an annotated master list of all 22 titles.  Click here to read more about this year's titles. Not all titles are in our library, but we can interlibrary loan any titles you would need.
